Gervonta Davis faces a fresh arrest warrant in Maryland for allegedly breaching his probation terms linked to a domestic violence incident. This development raises serious concerns about his future in the ring.

Davis, 31, was on probation for a November 2020 hit-and-run that injured four individuals. The latest allegations involve an incident on October 27, 2025, at a Miami strip club, where he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend, Courtney Rossel. Following the incident, Rossel filed a civil suit, forcing Davis to withdraw from his scheduled fight with Jake Paul.

Davis was arrested on January 14 in Florida, facing charges of battery, false imprisonment, and attempted kidnapping. He was released after posting an $8,500 bond and is prohibited from contacting Rossel. While the false imprisonment charge was dropped, the battery and attempted kidnapping charges remain active.

Initially, a warrant was issued by Circuit Judge Althea M. Handy on February 2 but was recalled after Davis’ attorneys promised cooperation. A second warrant was issued on April 24, and a motion to recall it was denied on May 22. Currently, the warrant stands active, and if apprehended, Davis will be held without bond.
