David Benavidez scores a stunning sixth-round KO against Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez, capturing the WBA and WBO cruiserweight titles. This victory makes Benavidez a three-division champion, the first to hold world titles at super middleweight, light heavyweight, and cruiserweight.
Benavidez (32-0, 26 KOs) steps into the 200-pound division after a dominant TKO win over Anthony Yarde last November. Ramirez (48-2, 30 KOs) faced defeat in his first defense of the unified title, having previously gone the distance in all four of his cruiserweight bouts.
In the co-main event, Jaime Munguia (46-2, 35 KOs) claims the WBA super middleweight title, decisively defeating Jose Armando Resendiz (16-3, 11 KOs) by unanimous decision with scores of 117-111, 119-109, and 120-108.
