Tim Tszyu dominates Denis Nurja to secure a unanimous decision in Wollongong, Australia. Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs) controls every round against the previously unbeaten Nurja (20-1, 9 KOs) on Easter Sunday. The win boosts Tszyu’s momentum for a highly anticipated showdown with Errol Spence Jr. later this year.
Tszyu starts strong, landing a powerful left-hand uppercut in the third round. Moments later, after an accidental head clash opens a cut on his cheek, he unleashes a barrage of punches, culminating in a left hook that puts Nurja on the canvas.
