In particular, Tony Norris's team on TNT Racing stood out during the ORC Nationals. Their impressive performance established them as the team to beat right from the start. With eight wins, they left a significant mark on the competition.

Milln, who recently secured second place in the Vasco da Gama Ocean Race, stated that the competition was fierce. He noted the intensity among teams like Regardless and Bellissima, both from Durban, all vying for top honors.

Moreover, MSC Week celebrated a mix of ages and skill levels. The youngest competitor was 12-year-old Rebekha Grung, who crewed on Gambit, earning a commendable third place in her category. In contrast, the most experienced sailor, Nigel Milln, turned 80 this September and guided CFM II to a strong finish.

Furthermore, Michael Pammenter, a two-time Volvo Ocean Racer, returned to Durban waters after years abroad. His team, CFM II, finished third overall. Pammenter emphasized the exceptional sailing conditions in Durban, recalling fond memories of racing in his youth.
