Filip Pavic makes history this Wednesday by becoming the first player born in 2010 to play in a Champions League match. The Bayern Munich defender, aged 16, debuted in the 72nd minute during the second leg against Atalanta Bergamasca, which was already heavily dominated by the Bavarians (4-1, 6-1 on aggregate). Pavic also stands out as the third youngest player to appear in the Champions League, behind Max Dowman and Youssoufa Moukoko. Born on January 19, 2010, he surpasses Lamine Yamal, who made his debut at 16 years and 68 days. Pavic, who has been with Bayern since 2019, is also a German U16 international with 9 caps. He recently signed a professional contract with the club until 2029.
