Chichester Harbour Series 2025/2026 wraps up with thrilling competition and record participation. This finale showcases exceptional sailing talent and the spirit of collaboration among local clubs, making it an event not to be missed.
Over the weekend, boats sailed from Bosham, Hayling Island, and Itchenor, all converging for two days of intense racing. The opening race saw Felix Gladman and Corin Mitchell take an early lead, but Sebastian Rogers and Barnaby Dixon surged ahead to claim victory. Felix and Corin finished second, while Sophie Fox and Florence Lewin took third.
The second race featured a strong tide, with Felix and Corin again leading the pack. However, Liberty Aldrige and Georgia Thompson executed a brilliant maneuver to snatch first place, followed by Luke Moore and Iain Coward in third.
The final day brought blue skies and heightened excitement. In the first race, Rachel Elms and Laura Jubb made significant gains, ultimately winning, with Emily Tyrell and Isabella Edgecombe in second and Sophie and Florence in third. Rachel and Laura maintained their momentum into the second race, leading from the start.
With a blend of skill and competitive spirit, the Chichester Harbour Series finale sets the stage for an exciting sailing season ahead.
