Conor McGregor ramps up his UFC comeback training, sparring with unbeaten welterweight Eoin Sheridan, who towers at 6-foot-5. McGregor posts clips of himself landing punches and delivering a spinning kick to Sheridan’s head. Despite a nine-inch height disadvantage, the former two-weight champion showcases his striking skills with a trademark left hand and leg kick.
Sheridan, affiliated with McGregor's SBG Ireland gym, boasts a 4-0 record and has fought in the Professional Fighters League. McGregor, now 37, hasn’t stepped into the UFC octagon since 2021 and has lost four of his last five bouts, including two to Dustin Poirier.
He awaits eligibility after March 20 following a ban from the Combat Sports Anti-Doping for "whereabouts failures." Dana White rules out McGregor for the June 14 White House card against Michael Chandler, but McGregor remains focused, declaring he is training “100%.”
