Bredewold faced a challenging scenario during the final stage in Donostia. She fell behind the front group of seven riders on the demanding Mendizorrotz climb, trailing by 30 seconds with just 10 kilometers to go. However, her remarkable descending skills allowed her to close the gap and rejoin the leaders. In a fierce finish, she sprinted to sixth place on the stage, solidifying her overall win.
Dominika Włodarczyk of UAE Team ADQ claimed victory in the final stage, repeating her success from stage 2, while Évita Muzic and Lauren Dickson from FDJ United-Suez rounded out the podium. Yara Kastelijn of Fenix-Premier Tech finished second in the general classification, 21 seconds behind Bredewold, who finally achieved her first overall win in this race after years of near misses.
