Demi Vollering (FDJ United-Suez) claims a stunning victory at the women's Tour of Flanders, launching a decisive solo attack on the Oude Kwaremont with just 18 kilometers remaining. This race not only showcases her dominance but also highlights the tactical prowess of her team.

Vollering's teammates, Franzi Koch, Elise Chabbey, and Célia Gery, set a relentless pace, particularly on the Koppenberg and Oude Kruisberg. After a pivotal lead-out by Koch, Vollering seized her moment on the cobblestones, swiftly distancing herself from the competition. While Puck Pieterse (Fenix-Premier Tech) initially dropped Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (Visma-Lease a Bike) on the Paterberg, Ferrand-Prévot managed to regroup and sprint past Pieterse to secure second place.

Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx-Protime) led a chase group to finish fourth, followed by Zoe Backstedt (Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto) and Karlijn Swinkels (UAE Team ADQ). Vollering reflects on her triumph, emphasizing the demanding conditions and her team's exceptional support. "It’s not every year that you’re healthy and come into this position, so you really need to enjoy the moment and give it your all," she stated. This victory solidifies Vollering as a formidable contender in women's cycling.
