Great Britain secures a spot on the 2026-27 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup calendar, with Glasgow confirmed as the host city. The race takes place on Sunday, December 13, completing a 12-race schedule. The World Cup kicks off in Czechia, with Ostrava holding the first race on November 27, followed by Tabor on November 29. This marks the return of a UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup round to Great Britain for the first time in over a decade. Jonathan Day, director of events at British Cycling, highlights the significance of this event for the cycling community. Previously, World Cup races occurred in Milton Keynes in 2014, marking the series' first venture outside mainland Europe. Collaboration among British Cycling Ventures, EventScotland, and Glasgow Life has made this possible, showcasing the rich history and passion for cyclo-cross in the UK.
