Sabo, representing Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY28, claims her third victory in just five days at the Community Alliance Medical Group Sunset Road Race. Kent Ross of Cascadia Elite Racing secures the win in the men’s stage 5, showcasing a powerful finish. The overall general classification titles go to Lauren Stephens (Aegis x Leaders of Enchantment) and Eder Frayre (L39ION of Los Angeles). Stephens finishes seventh in the final stage, while Frayre takes third, holding off Owen Cole (Team Winston Salem) by just nine seconds to clinch his second consecutive GC title.
Emily Ehrlich, also from Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY28, finishes as runner-up in the women's competition, 15 seconds behind Sabo, with teammate Jamie Chapman taking third. Frayre’s victory marks a historic repeat after being the first Mexican rider to win last year. The event, affected by rain, features challenging circuits and technical turns, culminating in a gripping sprint finish on East Citrus Avenue.
