Specialized launches its long-awaited tubeless-compatible Cotton tyres. The Turbo Cotton and Cotton tyres have a rich history, with the original clincher used by Tony Martin to clinch the World Time Trial Championship in 2012. Professional teams have relied on the Turbo for significant road victories.
At the recent Opening Weekend, riders from Bora Hansgrohe, Soudal Quick-Step, and FDJ United - Suez showcased the new 30mm and 32mm sizes. Demi Vollering rode the 32mm version to victory at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
These tyres have been in the making since they first appeared at the Critérium du Dauphiné in June 2025. The new tubeless design promises to deliver Specialized’s most supple and fastest performance yet. The original Turbo Cotton remains available in sizes 24, 26, and 28mm, while the latest models upgrade the game with wider options.
