Tommaso Dati (Team Ukyo) claims victory in stage 3 of Settimana Coppi e Bartali, outpacing Mauro Schmid (Jayco-AlUla) and Diego Ulissi (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) in a thrilling reduced bunch sprint. This marks Dati's first professional win, following Filippo D'Aiuto's (General Store-Essegibi-Curia) stage 2 triumph. D'Aiuto loses the race lead after struggling on the only climb of the 175.5km stage, allowing Schmid to take over as the new leader. Early in the race, a breakaway group featuring Luca Colnaghi (Bardiani CSF-7 Saber), Giosuè Epis (Petrolike), and Mirko Bozzola (SC Padovani-Polo-Cherry Bank) formed, gaining a maximum lead of three minutes. However, with 30km left, the break splintered before the Passo Tre Termini climb. Stiansen briefly led, but the peloton regrouped for the final sprint, setting the stage for Dati's victory.
