Stanford standout freshman Ebuka Okorie declares for the NBA draft following a record-breaking season. This decision could reshape the dynamics of the draft as Okorie emerges as a top prospect.
Okorie led the ACC in scoring, averaging 23.2 points per game, ranking eighth nationally. He shattered records, including the freshman ACC record for games with 30 or more points, previously held by Marvin Bagley III. His debut featured a remarkable 26-point performance, and he set a Stanford freshman record with 36 points against North Carolina.
Finishing with 719 points, he ranks third in Stanford's history for a single season. Okorie also averaged 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, matching the elite per-game marks of Ja Morant and Jermaine Marrow from 2018-19. Projected as a late first-round pick, Okorie's skills continue to impress scouts.
