The 52nd St. Thomas International Regatta (STIR) takes place April 2-5, 2026, at the St. Thomas Yacht Club. This year’s event features IRC, CSA, ORC, Multihull, and One-Design classes, promising high-quality racing in a laid-back Caribbean atmosphere. Unique highlights include the Caribbean's largest IC24 fleet and tuning opportunities for Sunfish ahead of the World Championship in November 2026. Longtime partner The Moorings returns as the sponsor of the race committee boat. Nearly two dozen IC24 teams from the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the USA compete for the second annual IC24 Caribbean Championship title. Bill Liddle's team, hailing from the Northeast, aims for strong performances while enjoying the competition and St. Thomas' consistent winds. STIR offers a perfect blend of challenging courses and camaraderie among sailors, making it a must-attend event in the sailing calendar.
