“It was perfect racing here in Bermuda, with conditions to really push the boat,” says Sébastien Schneiter, emphasizing the excitement of this new partnership. Day two presents a different challenge with lighter winds, testing the team's adaptability. They rise to the occasion, showcasing strong performances, including a notable second-place finish in a technical race.
The team finishes the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix in fifth overall, tied on points with fourth place after a solid comeback in the final race. Historically, the Swiss team has struggled in unstable conditions, making their progress in Bermuda a promising sign as they move deeper into the season. “We improved our communication and execution in lighter conditions,” Schneiter adds, highlighting the team's growth and energy moving forward.
