Formule-1 : Antonelli dreams of endurance race alongside Verstappen

Kimi Antonelli secures his first F1 victory in China and sets his sights on endurance racing with Max Verstappen. The 19-year-old Mercedes driver expresses a desire to trade his F1 car for a GT3 machine to team up with Verstappen. Antonelli, whose father Marco runs AKM Motorsport, has deep roots in GT racing. He enthusiastically states, “I would love to do an endurance race with Max.” Verstappen gears up for the Nürburgring 24 Hours this May, driving a Mercedes AMG-GT3 in Red Bull colors. Antonelli, inspired by Verstappen’s upcoming challenge, aims to race on the legendary Nordschleife. He’s already requested a test there, showcasing his passion for the track. Currently, Antonelli is focused on his battle for the Drivers’ Championship, trailing George Russell by just four points. With 47 points so far, he’s ready to continue his winning momentum.
