McLaren unveils the MCL40, its 2026 single-seater, driven by world champion Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The presentation takes place ahead of Aston Martin, which is showcasing its car this Monday. McLaren has already tested the MCL40 during private sessions in Barcelona. The black and chrome design will be replaced by a two-tone black and orange livery, with a greater emphasis on orange at the nose. The team, crowned Constructors' Champions in 2024 and Drivers' Champion in 2025, is adapting its car to the new technical regulations. The ratio of the electric to thermal engine shifts from 80%-20% to 50%-50%. The cars are powered by a Mercedes engine, which will be in action this week. The first official tests of the season take place from Wednesday to Friday at the Bahrain circuit.
