LeBron James makes history again, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most made field goals in NBA history. In Thursday's 120-113 loss to the Denver Nuggets, James hits a turnaround jumper with 12.3 seconds left in the first quarter, marking his 15,838th career field goal. He previously became the all-time leading scorer on February 7, 2023, surpassing Abdul-Jabbar with a step-back jumper, and now has over 43,000 points. James finishes the game with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting. He reflects on his journey, saying, "It's pretty cool to be mentioned with some of the greatest." The next milestone for James is Robert Parish's record of 1,611 games played. He sits at 1,606 and could tie that mark on March 16 against the Houston Rockets if he plays every game leading up to it.
