PSG qualifies for the knockout stage of the Champions League with a 2-2 draw against Monaco, but this result raises concerns. Dominating in numbers with one player advantage, the Parisian club doesn’t show its true face. Monaco, fighting hard, battles until the end, coming close to causing an upset with a header from Wout Faes in the 90+4 minute. Paris needed this qualification, but the manner in which they achieved it leaves much to be desired. The expulsion of Mamadou Coulibaly in the 58th minute changes the game, allowing Marquinhos to equalize in the 60th and Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia to give Paris the lead in the 66th. In two halves, PSG suffers a 2-3 defeat when both teams are at full strength. In two weeks, they face FC Barcelona or Chelsea, but the intensity and momentum are still lacking.
