Martins Sesks targets success at Rally Sweden this weekend as he returns to the World Rally Championship with M-Sport-Ford. The 26-year-old Latvian sets two main objectives: enjoy the driving experience on snow and leverage past rally knowledge. Sesks aims to improve on his previous sixth-place finish in Sweden and replicate the pace he showcased in Saudi Arabia last November, where he nearly claimed his first win.
Rally Sweden features 18 competitive stages over 300 kilometers. Alongside Sesks, M-Sport-Ford fields a three-car lineup, including Josh McErlean and Jon Armstrong. While it's McErlean's second attempt in Rally1 machinery, Armstrong makes his debut on a full snow event after winning the Junior WRC class at Rally Sweden in 2022. The stakes are high as Sesks seeks to solidify his future in the WRC during this pivotal year of Rally1 regulations.
