The UFC is set to host its first live professional sporting event on the South Lawn of the White House on June 14. UFC CEO Dana White promises a "one-of-one event," aiming to make it the most-watched UFC event ever. The event will be simulcast on CBS and Paramount+. White and his matchmaking team are finalizing the fight lineup, with announcements expected soon.
President Donald Trump inspired the idea for this historic event, which he initially teased in July 2025 during a celebration of America's 250th birthday. UFC chief content officer Craig Borsari leads the logistics, having met with White House staff multiple times. Importantly, White confirms no taxpayer money will fund the event; UFC covers all costs, including the South Lawn's grass replacement, estimated at $700,000 to $1 million. More details about the fight card will emerge shortly.
