Bubba Wallace finishes eighth in the Autotrader 400, falling short once again. Leading in overtime, Wallace moves to the outside lane, leaving space for competitors. His 23XI Racing teammate, Tyler Reddick, seizes the opportunity and takes the win. "I didn't think I moved up that much," Wallace reflects. Despite missing the podium, he wins the second stage and leads for 46 laps. He praises the speed of his Toyota and credits Rajah Caruth for advice on handling it. "This car is so fast, don't do anything to jeopardize a good finish," Caruth advised. Wallace finishes with strong momentum but expresses disappointment, saying, "I hate that we didn't get the win." He remains second in the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series Standings with 85 points, trailing Reddick by 40 points.
