Bam Adebayo delivers a historic performance, scoring 83 points in the Miami Heat's 150-129 victory over the Washington Wizards. This marks the second-highest single-game score in NBA history, surpassing Kobe Bryant’s 81-point game. Adebayo's stats include nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks, with seven 3-pointers on 22 attempts. His first-half output of 43 points exceeds his previous career high of 41.
Adebayo sets records for most free throws made (36) and attempted (43) in a game. He also establishes new franchise records for points in a quarter (31), half (43), and game (83), 12 years after LeBron James scored 61 for the Heat. Adebayo becomes the 11th player in NBA history to score 70 or more in a game and the first this season to hit 60. His 62 points through three quarters is the highest since Kobe’s 62 in 2005.
