A long-standing feud between NBA legends Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley is reportedly coming to an end as they plan to hit the golf course together this offseason. Barkley revealed on Sirius XM's "Mad Dog Unleashed" that the two have spoken recently and agreed to meet for a game once the basketball season concludes.
Nearly 15 years of silence followed Barkley's critical remarks about Jordan's ownership of the Charlotte Bobcats in 2012. Barkley stated, "I love Michael, but he just has not done a good job," pointing to a lack of strong voices around Jordan in the management of the franchise. Despite the tension, Barkley has expressed his desire to mend their relationship over the years, asserting that Jordan could contact him anytime.
Jordan, who sold his stake in the Charlotte Hornets for approximately $3 billion in 2023, has not commented on the upcoming golf game. Barkley, a prominent analyst on "Inside the NBA," emphasized that their bond remains strong. "We're not like Prince William and Prince Harry. We always have a lot of love for each other," he noted. This reunion could signify a significant step in mending their friendship and healing past grievances.
