Rapper J. Cole signs with the Nanjing Monkey Kings in the Chinese Basketball Association, sources confirm. The multi-Grammy winner follows through on his commitment from last year to play for the team. This marks Cole’s third stint in a professional sports league, having played for the Rwanda Patriots in the Basketball Africa League in 2021 and the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the Canadian Elite Basketball League in 2022. Cole, known for his high school basketball background in North Carolina, boasts six Platinum albums and a Grammy for Best Rap Song in 2020. His latest album, "The Fall-Off," dropped in February.
