Alec Pierce stays with the Indianapolis Colts, agreeing to a four-year, $116 million deal. The contract includes $84 million in guaranteed money, making Pierce the ninth-highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. Multiple teams, including the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers, showed interest, but Pierce remains in Indianapolis. He led the league in yards per reception for the past two seasons and recorded 47 receptions for 1,003 yards in 2025.
Pierce ranks as the second-highest wide receiver on the top 100 free agents list, right behind Dallas Cowboys’ George Pickens. At just 25, he’s recognized as one of the premier deep-threat receivers in the game. His strong performance, including four touchdowns in the last three games of 2025, boosts his market value. The Colts face tough decisions with several top free agents, but Pierce's return solidifies their receiving corps.
