Coach Jeff Blashill confirms both players are not dealing with long-term issues but were unavailable for this game. Forward Dominic Toninato returns after being recalled from the minors earlier that day.

Crevier, a seventh-round pick from the 2020 draft, has emerged as a reliable contributor in his third NHL season, tallying five goals and 12 assists in 65 games. Mangiapane, acquired from Edmonton on March 4, has registered one goal and one assist in seven games with Chicago.

The Blackhawks are still awaiting immigration clearance for newly signed prospect Sacha Boisvert, delaying his potential NHL debut. Boisvert, a Quebec native and the No. 18 pick in the 2024 draft, turned 20 on Tuesday.
