Liverpool is reportedly ahead of Paris Saint-Germain in the race to secure RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. The Reds aim to bounce back next season after a disappointing fifth-place finish in the Premier League, which led to the sacking of Arne Slot.

With Andoni Iraola set to take over as head coach, Liverpool is keen to sign at least one new winger, and Diomande could be at the top of their list. French journalist Santi Aouna confirms that Diomande has given the green light for moves to both PSG and Liverpool. However, David Ornstein reveals that Liverpool has made significant progress, establishing contact with Leipzig and positioning themselves favorably with the player.

While PSG remains interested, they are currently lagging behind Liverpool in negotiations. RB Leipzig is reluctant to part with Diomande without a substantial offer, reportedly seeking more than €130 million (£112.4 million, $151.2 million).

Diomande's recent comments about his admiration for PSG sparked some concern among Liverpool fans, but he insists his focus remains on the World Cup, leaving his future uncertain. As the transfer window approaches, this situation could significantly impact both clubs and Diomande’s career trajectory.
