Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool, with Al-Ittihad emerging as the frontrunner for his signature. Salah and Liverpool confirm an agreement for his exit this summer, following a drop in his performance levels. Despite signing a two-year extension last year, he will depart on a free transfer.
Al-Ittihad previously made a £150 million bid for Salah, which was rejected, but they are back in the mix, looking to secure the star following Karim Benzema's move to Al Hilal. Other Saudi clubs like Al Hilal, Al Qadsiah, and Neom show interest, while European giants remain alert to his situation. Reports indicate that discussions are at an advanced stage, with Al-Ittihad leading the chase to bring the Egyptian international to the Saudi Pro League. Liverpool is already pursuing a long-term replacement for Salah as they prepare for his departure.
