UBB is fielding a strong team to face Leicester in the Champions Cup. Matthieu Jalibert makes his return after a week off. He reunites with his partner Maxime Lucu in the half-back position. Damian Penaud, in great form, remains at center alongside Yoram Moefana. Louis Bielle-Biarrey, named Player of the Tournament in the Six Nations, takes the left wing. At the back, Fijian Salesi Rayasi, who has scored four tries since the start of the competition, will be in action. Hugo Reus, who recently joined from Perpignan, is also on the match sheet for his first game with UBB.
On Leicester's side, currently 3rd in the Premiership, some strategic choices are being made. English internationals Joe Heyes and Ollie Chessum, along with Welshman Nicky Smith, are left out. However, scrum-half Jack Van Poortvliet, who participated in the last tournament, is present, paired with the experienced James O'Connor, a former Toulon player. This clash promises to be decisive in the pool. Both teams are ready to go head-to-head.
