Toulouse dominates Bristol with a stunning score of 59-26 and moves on to the quarter-finals of the Champions Cup. The French champions are now preparing to face UBB, who play against Leicester on Sunday.
Right from the start, the English open the scoring with a try from Harding in the 4th minute. But Toulouse quickly responds with Willis scoring in the 8th. The Toulouse machine kicks into gear: Mauvaka shines twice (13th, 19th) and Gourgues adds a try in the 15th. At halftime, the score is already 40-7 in favor of the Red and Black.
The second half starts strong with a double from Lebel in the 41st minute. Bristol tries to respond with a try from Ravouvou (45th), but Toulouse remains dominant. Teddy Thomas scores twice (53rd, 57th), supported by 14 points from Ramos' kicking and a great performance from Antoine Dupont.
The late tries from Williams (69th) and Heward (74th) for Bristol are mere footnotes. Toulouse already has one foot in the quarter-finals and eagerly awaits UBB in Bordeaux. This clash promises to be exciting.
