Beauden Barrett applauds the stability in New Zealand rugby following Dave Rennie's appointment as All Blacks head coach. This comes after the dismissal of Scott Robertson in January amid a New Zealand Rugby review. Rennie, currently with Kobelco Kobe Steelers, takes over on a short-term contract until the Rugby World Cup in Australia, starting after his commitments in Japan end in June. The All Blacks playmaker, now with the Blues in Super Rugby Pacific, acknowledges Rennie's strong reputation, noting praise from former Chiefs players. Barrett maintains contact with current teammates Anton Lienert-Brown and Ardie Savea, who play under Rennie in Japan. Rennie plans to approach the squad selection without bias, a strategy Barrett supports as they prepare for upcoming Tests against France, Italy, and Ireland in July.
