Rugby Championship : Benetton faces major overhaul as seven stars prepare to exit

Benetton’s roster undergoes a major shake-up as seven players confirm their exit after a challenging season. This decision could reshape the team’s future and highlights significant player movements in the rugby landscape.

Despite a surprise victory over Leinster, Benetton finishes a dismal 13th in the United Rugby Championship, with only six wins from 16 matches. They also faced early elimination from the EPCR Challenge Cup. Leading the departures is 23-year-old Tommaso Menoncello, a standout in recent Six Nations, reportedly heading to Toulouse. Former All Black Malakai Fekitoa joins Pro D2 side Beziers, while Thomas Gallo secures a four-year deal with Lyon. Other exits include Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro, lock Eli Snyman heading to Ulster, and the departures of Scott Scrafton and Nicolas Roger Farias.
