Rassie Erasmus confirms SA Rugby is aiming to extend Tony Brown's contract following Jamie Joseph's missed opportunity to coach the All Blacks. With Scott Robertson out, Brown was rumored to return to New Zealand but quickly denied those claims, stating his commitment to the Springboks until the 2027 Rugby World Cup. There’s no exit clause in his contract. Erasmus, who recently extended his own contract through to the 2031 Rugby World Cup, emphasizes his desire to retain the current coaching staff, which includes Brown, Jerry Flannery, and others.
