Sotutu, who debuted for New Zealand against Australia and has 14 Test caps, is considering his international options as he qualifies for England through his mother and Fiji through his father. He acknowledges the challenge of breaking into a team featuring stars like Ardie Savea and Sam Cane, stating, “It is hard to get a spot in that team.”
Now, with a three-year contract at Newcastle starting in the 2026/27 PREM Rugby season, Sotutu aims to leverage this new chapter to enhance his game and possibly earn an England call-up. His focus remains on excelling with the Red Bulls.
