Rugby Championship : Zac Lomax Embraces Rugby Union Challenge with Western Force Move

Zac Lomax officially joins Rugby Australia and the Western Force on a two-year contract, effective immediately. The 26-year-old NRL star, with 133 appearances for St. George Illawarra and Parramatta Eels, transitions from rugby league to rugby union. After walking away from a three-year deal with Parramatta, Lomax faced uncertainty due to R360’s postponed global rugby series until 2028. He’s set to play as an outside back or in midfield, joining the Force after their Round Five Super Rugby Pacific match against the Hurricanes in Napier. Lomax aims to make his Super Rugby debut against the Chiefs on March 28.
