This week in Oyster Bay, Long Island, 58 local youths participated in an intensive wingfoiling clinic using Armstrong Foils equipment. For many, like Kevin Quezada from the Bronx, this experience is life-changing. He dreams of becoming a SailGP athlete after witnessing the thrilling teamwork of the championship.
Returning participant Julia DeAngelis also highlights personal growth, noting her improved stability on the foils since last year. “It felt great to be foiling again today,” she said, emphasizing that SailGP Inspire breaks down barriers to sailing.
