Tyler Reddick is on the brink of NASCAR history. This Sunday at Phoenix Raceway, he aims to become the first driver to start a Cup Series season with four straight victories. Reddick, piloting the No. 45 Toyota co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan, has already triumphed at the Daytona 500, Atlanta, and the Circuit of the Americas.
Phoenix, a one-mile de facto short track, presents a new challenge. Reddick’s past performance here includes two top-fives and four top-10s, with an average finish of 17.8. While not stellar, it’s an improvement compared to his earlier average finishes this season. Only two teams in NASCAR history have won the first three races of the year, both with teammates. Reddick's quest this weekend could rewrite the record books and cement his legacy among the sport’s legends.
