Thirteen RS100s compete at the 2026 RS100 Inland Championships at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club, alongside RS400s and RS700s. After last year's event was canceled due to low water levels, the lake is now nearly full following one of the wettest Januarys in the UK.

Saturday opens with sunny skies and tricky, shifty winds. The first race sees Bowhay take an early lead but nearly capsizes on the first gybe. Gregory and Wakefield surge to second and third, respectively, as Bowhay holds on for victory.

Race 2 catches Smart and Bowhay off guard, forcing them to restart. Wakefield finishes first, followed by Gregory and a recovering Smart in third. Races 3 and 4 see Wakefield and Gregory dominate, each securing top spots. Bowhay consistently places third, battling against Smart, Jones, and Elmes.

After five hours on the water, the fleet heads back, exhausted but exhilarated.
