Heijst emphasizes the flawless crew performance, noting the critical role of their experience, especially with two crew members over 80 years old steering throughout the race.
Nick and Jacquetta Edmonds’ J/45 Stickleback triumphs in Monohull Line Honours with an elapsed time of 14 hours, 12 minutes, and 14 seconds, narrowly beating RORC Vice Commodore Derek Shakespeare’s J/122 Bulldog by just 73 seconds. In the Multihull category, Peter Coote's Dazcat 1295 Slinky Malinki takes top honors.
