Biograd na Moru gears up for an intense showdown as it hosts the final regatta of the sixth CRO M24 Cup season this weekend, doubling as the Open Croatian Championship for the Melges 24 class. Expect fierce competition with around 20 crews from six European nations, including Croatia, Italy, Greece, Norway, Austria, and Great Britain.
A highlight is the new British team racing on Adrenalin, formerly known as Black Seal, known for its past victories. They are joined by an Austrian crew on Ela, featuring Chris Rast, a former Melges 24 World Champion. The competition intensifies with the participation of top Italian teams like Melgina and Strambapapa, alongside four U25 teams, one more than previous events. Notably, Joyrunner is bolstered by young sailors from Rijeka.
As the season finale approaches, Razjaren leads the overall standings by 10 points over Panjic. Little A dominates the Corinthian division, with Ante Cesic and his crew on Razjaren seeking to maintain their championship title for the third consecutive year.
