Hearn reveals that discussions involve a two-fight deal, with an interim bout in July against an opponent of similar caliber to Arslanbek Makhmudov. Although Joshua has faced inactivity, with only two fights in 18 months and a recent car crash, he’s determined to step back into boxing. Hearn states, “My instructions from AJ is to make the fight,” emphasizing the seriousness of the negotiations.
Fury, fresh off a victory, publicly challenged Joshua to accept the fight, insisting that it's time for Joshua to commit. Although both fighters have mutual respect as former two-time heavyweight champions, they have never faced each other. Potential venues like Wembley Stadium and Croke Park are being discussed, though Hearn suggests Dublin may be off the table due to November weather.
