Katie Taylor plans to retire this year after one final fight in Dublin. The two-weight undisputed champion (25-1, 6 KOs) aims for Croke Park as her farewell venue, though opponent and date remain unconfirmed. "I just want to fight in Dublin to end my career," Taylor stated. She has fought at the 3Arena and the Aviva Stadium but dreams of headlining Croke Park's 80,000-seat arena. "It would be absolutely remarkable if I was able to do that," she added. At 39, Taylor hasn't fought since beating Amanda Serrano at Madison Square Garden last year. She took time off in September and has only one loss in her professional career, to Chantelle Cameron in May 2023. Taylor won the rematch later that year. As one of the best female fighters ever, she aims to write a final chapter in her home country before hanging up the gloves.
