The 2026 sailing season kicks off this week with the Swan Bonifacio Challenge and the USA League Event 2 in Pensacola, featuring 35 one-design yachts across four classes. This season is pivotal, celebrating the 60th anniversary of Nautor Swan, a brand synonymous with craftsmanship and a passion for sailing.

Racing kicks off in Bonifacio, where the iconic backdrop sets the stage for thrilling competition. The ClubSwan 28 class leads the charge, followed by the full one-design fleet. Meanwhile, in Pensacola, the ClubSwan 28 yachts mark the start of the American season. This year, the fleet welcomes three new entries, including Marlin 3 in the ClubSwan 50 class, and two ClubSwan 36 yachts collaborating with The Magenta Project.

The Magenta Project aims to empower women in elite sailing, launching a three-boat program across EU and US Nations League events. A selection panel of professional female sailors guides the development of the ClubSwan 36 team, focusing on emerging talent.

Luisa Bambozzi, Managing Director of ClubSwan, emphasizes the season's significance, highlighting the commitment to both competitive racing and community engagement. The stage is set for a vibrant season filled with memorable moments, both on and off the water.
