Ben Turner of Ineos Grenadiers escapes serious injury after a bizarre crash at In Flanders Fields, where he somersaults across the road. The 26-year-old struggles with luck in recent races, suffering a mechanical failure at E3 Saxo Classic and getting tangled with another rider at Wevelgem, resulting in a DNF.

Turner loses control, flips over, and lands hard on his back. He posts on Instagram, humorously stating, “I feel like Mike Tyson punched me in the back.” Despite the harsh fall, he remains optimistic about future races.

Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Premier Tech) clinches victory in In Flanders Fields, edging out Tobias Lund Andresen (Decathlon CMA-CGM) in a tight bunch sprint. Samuel Watson finishes as the best Ineos Grenadiers rider, taking 17th place.

Turner will miss the upcoming Dwars door Vlaanderen as Ineos Grenadiers brings in Artem Shmidt as a replacement. His status for the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix is uncertain, although he remains on the provisional startlist.
