Lucas Bourgoyne and Elizabeth Castaño both secure thrilling sprint victories at the High Line Criterium in Suwanee, Georgia, marking a pivotal moment in the USA CRITS series. This event, the sixth of eight, showcases the intense competition and strategy that shapes the series standings.

In the women’s race, a fierce battle ensued among top sprinters, with Castaño emerging victorious in a dramatic finish. Despite a strong challenge from Andrea Cyr (HigherDOSE - Renova), who surged ahead in the final stretch, Castaño and her rivals surged past in the last 100 meters. Alexi Ramirez (L39ION of Los Angeles) and Flor Espiritusanto (1kFlips Racing) rounded out the podium. Castaño’s win propels her from fifth to third in the individual standings, while Liza Ray and Elizabeth Harden of Kingdom Elite maintain their one-two lead.

On the men’s side, Bourgoyne, representing Team Cadence Cyclery pb Waldo Racing, clinches his second victory in the series after a tactical race dominated by Foundation New York. Bourgoyne skillfully navigated through the pack, overtaking competitors in the final corners to finish strong. The standings remain unchanged, with Leonel Rodriguez (The Paceline Project) still leading the men's competition.
