The Cyclists' Alliance (TCA) faces a funding crisis that threatens its existence. President Grace Brown reveals the organization's critical situation in a social media post. Founded in 2017, TCA advocates for women's rights in cycling, providing support like legal advice and mentoring for nearly 100 young riders. To stay operational through 2026, TCA needs €35,000 for its mentor program. €65,000 would maintain legal support, while €100,000 secures broader athlete education and advocacy with the UCI. Sponsorships from Strava, BBB, Zwift, Cannondale, Trek, Rapha Foundation, Liv, and SRAM have previously supported TCA, but immediate financial aid is essential. Without it, TCA risks ceasing operations. The organization highlights the growing divide in women's cycling, with high-level WorldTour events thriving while the Continental level remains fragile. TCA's future hangs in the balance as they turn to crowdfunding for survival.
