Swenson, the reigning UCI marathon cross-country mountain bike World Champion, is sidelined after suffering a fractured pelvis during a training ride in Spain. He aims to engage with fans, offering a shakeout ride with the Valley of Tears crew on Friday at 3 p.m. CST. The pro women's criterium kicks off at 5:30 p.m. CST, followed by the men's at 6:05 p.m. CST, both streamed on the Valley of Tears YouTube channel. Saturday's main event, featuring defending champions Daxton Mock and Sofia Gomez Villafañe, boasts a $45,000 prize purse, but won't be live-streamed.
