Makena Kellerman solidifies her dominance in the U23 XCC standings with a thrilling win at Nové Město Na Moravě, narrowly defeating Norway's Lisa Kristine Jorde. This victory marks her second consecutive World Cup triumph, having previously claimed the top spot in South Korea three weeks ago.

Kellerman's performance is a testament to her strategic racing. A tight pack of 24 riders controlled the early laps, with USA’s Bailey Cioppa setting a brisk pace alongside Switzerland's Fiona Schibler. As the race progressed, Kellerman positioned herself strategically, waiting for the right moment to surge ahead. On the final lap, she and Jorde created a gap, allowing Kellerman to unleash a powerful sprint for the win, finishing just ahead of Jorde, with Valentina Corvi of Canyon XC Racing taking third.

In the men’s U23 race, Paul Schehl of Lexware Mountainbike Team dominated, leading seven of the eight laps and pulling away from USA's Ian Ackert to secure victory by a seven-second margin. Nael Rouffiac from Origine Racing Division claimed second, two seconds behind Schehl.

Kellerman’s win not only extends her lead in the overall standings but also sets the stage for her XCO debut, fueling excitement for the upcoming races.
